The American Boychoir, comprising boys ages 3 to 7, from 24 states in the country, as well as Colombia, South America, and Korea, will perform at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 3395 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 3. Charles Davis Cheatham
Charles Davis Cheatham of McRae, went to be with his heavenly father on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. He was born Oct. 29, 1936 to the late J.P and Olga Cheatham of Memphis, Tenn. In 1946, the family moved to Eudora, where he was a graduate of Eudora High School and Ouachita Baptist University. After graduation, he coached football and track at Carthage, Gould, Norphlet and Searcy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and an active member of Floyd First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. His retirement years were spent refinishing antique furniture, and restoring antique cars.Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Nona Johnson Cheatham; three daughters, Sunny Hendrix and husband, Roger, of Bald Knob, Susan Gay Cheatham of Little Rock and Karla Ann Tarkington and husband, Michael, of Beebe; one brother, Jeff Porter Cheatham Jr., and his wife, Donna, of Russellville; and five grandchildren.

Everybody is saying this game boils down to a quarterback mismatch: the record-setting Peyton Manning against Good Rex-Bad Rex Grossman. Chicago's quarterback became irritated one day with all the questions of which Grossman will show up tonight, calling reporters "ignorant" in general terms about football. He does have a point there. What he does have to worry about, though, are Colts DEs Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis. Many scouts believe that Chicago left tackle John Tait will struggle with Freeney's quickness, especially if it doesn't rain. Freeney has been exceptional in the playoffs and there isn't a better speed rusher in the game. If Grossman can't deal with the pressure, Chicago may be forced to pound the ball, which many believe is their intention with Cedric Benson and Thomas Jones.
