| Burglary Arrest
Items sold to a local Antique Shop tipped investigators off to a suspect in a string of burglaries in the Lynn Haven and Bay County area. Investigators with the Bay County Sheriff's Office were working a burglary which occurred on January 18, 2007, in which a home was burglarized and a firearm, a Colt 45 Semi Automatic, was taken as well as coins and other items. On January 29, 2007, the suspect went to two local Antique shops to sell two antique dueling pistols and some old coins. The pistols were purchased by the shop owner. Shortly afterward, officers from the Lynn Haven Police Department went to the shop, asking about certain items that had been taken in a burglary that occurred within the Lynn Haven city limits. The shop owner did not have those items, but did mention the pistols and old coins to the officers.

MEDIA WATCH: Local TV host Hagler OK after Thursday morning episode
Short takes: ESPN's SportsCenter will present a special two-night "Sunday Conversation" with Nick Saban today and Monday. Part 1 debuts on today's 10:30 p.m. program, and Part 2 airs Monday at 5 p.m. ESPN NFL insider Chris Mortensen's sit-down interview with the new coach airs today, while Monday will be their conversation as they pass through the school's Walk of Champions and visit the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. . . . On this week's edition of HBO's Inside the NFL, co-host Cris Collinsworth, a standout wide receiver for the University of Florida years ago, had some advice to NFL team owners regarding Urban Meyer: "I know that Urban Meyer looks like the brilliant head coach and would be a great NFL coach," Collinsworth said, "but I really think that he is going to need another 20 or 30 years seasoning at the University of Florida, maybe another 10 or 12 national championships, before he is ready for the NFL.
